This is one of four caches that you can find in a neat section of state gamelands near Pittsfield. Suggested parking is at N 41*50.252 and W 079* 25.000, the same spot for the Turkey Scratch Cache.
The road into the parking spot is not well marked, but it intersects with State Route 27 at these coordinates N 41* 49.492 and W 079* 24.322. The road is about a mile long into the parking spot and is a little rough for the first hundred yards or so, but then gets better. It has a good base, but is a little rocky, so low clearance vehicles are not recommended. Use good judgement during snowy and icy weather. The parking spot is nice and ample room to turn your vehicle around, so if you can navigate the first hundred yards ok, you should be in good shape. Wear Blaze orange during hunting season. Enjoy the walk and be sure to rehide the cache as good or better than you find it to keep it from being found accidentally.
