The garden architect Paul Olsson built "Villa Björkgården" in 1920 here in the vicinity to the east. (His father Svante Olsson was the urban gardener who planned e.g. Esplanade park and Kaivopuisto/Brunnsparken in Helsinki.) The station was earlier about 500 m more to east, but as the big houses in Ymmersta were built, the station was moved for the new inhabitants. Front Grani is here!
