Allow yourself a good couple of hours to complete this one comfortably and spend time ejoying the view. Cache is located at a final elevation of 434m.
Once you get to the summit, no-one could blame you for feeling like The King of the Mountain, however spare a thought for those who race up and down the slope once a year. This cache should never be attempted on the fourth Sunday of July, which is when the King of the Mountain festival is held. On this day each year a race is held from the centre of the nearby town Pomona, to the summit and back. Incredibly the race record is 22 minutes and 43 seconds. Please take care while scaling the steep slope and searching for the cache which is a few metres from the main track.
