The above coordinates are for the flagpole in the Stophel Cemetery.
This is where the search begins. There are two ways to get to the
Cemetery. First: behind the Church and then do a little
bushwhacking. Second: there is a "secret" road that you can use to
drive right up to the Cemetery/flagpole. We will not tell you where
it is but with a little looking you can find it. The choice is
yours.
THIS CACHE IS DEDICATED TO ALL OF
THE WACs OF WWII AND TO ALL OF THE DOUGHBOYS OF WWI
Over 150,000 American women served in the Women's Army Corps
(WAC) during World War II. Members of the WAC were the first women
other than nurses to serve within the ranks of the United States
Army. Sixteen women received the Purple Heart, awarded to soldiers
injured due to enemy action. A total of 657 WACs received medals
and citations at the end of the war. By an act of Congress, the
Women's Army Corps ended in 1978 and the Corp was brought into all
but the combat branches of the Army.
WACs Reporting For Duty
There were 4,355,000 American men who were soldiers in World War
I. Of this number, 116,708 were killed. These soldiers were
affectionately known as "Doughboys". In World War II they were
known as GIs. Everyone agrees that the soldier's nickname was
Doughboy but there are a lot of differing opinions as to where the
name came from. There are four theories as to the origin of
"Doughboy". The "baked goods", the "button", the "Pipe Clay" and
the "Adobe" are all theories of the name. Due to space limitations
(or being lazy) I will not explain each theory but if you know or
find the answers and email them to me, you may claim an extra find
for this cache.

You are looking for a cammoed ammo box. Please trade even or up
and please put the cache back where you found it. Stealth is needed
because there are a lot of nearby eyes. Good
luck.
IF YOU TAKE A TB FROM THIS CACHE PLEASE LOG IT. TB'S ARE NOT
TRADING OR COLLECTING ITEMS (unless you own it).
