I Just Had to Sit Down Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Gitonyerhorse: Boy, this area has changed a LOT since I hid the cache. The tree the cache was hidden fell down and was cut into pieces. The cache may be buried underneath it somewhere, but there's really no place to hide it, and besides that, the log I just had to sit down on is gone! So, time moves on and it's time to say goodbye to my first cache.

Geocache Description:

Located along a link to the Hammond-Snyder Loop trail in Rancho San Antonio. For years, those of us who boarded our horses at the nearby stable hoped there would be a direct trail link to Rancho San Antonio. We finally got one.

Before this became part of Rancho San Antonio, the land was leased for cattle grazing. On hot summer days, this was my getaway spot to find some cool shade to relax in, with or without my horse. This is my first cache hide, so I hope you like it. There are a few small items in it and the FTF can take whatever he or she likes as a prize. Last time I was here, there was a rather large colony of wasps not too far away, so use caution and don't stray too far from the horse pasture. Watch out for poison oak, too, although I did not see any around the cache location.
