My first hide ever at one special entrance to Lawrence Park.
This is also the first of a small series of caches that I'll be hiding in my township of Lawrence Park.
Lawrence Park is one of the few "Shop towns" around. The first homes were built by General Electric in 1913 for their workers and then in 1918 Row Homes were added to house workers during the 1st World War. It has a lot of History that can be found at their Historical Society which is in the Township Hall and is open on Thursdays from 2PM to 4PM and Saturdays from 12noon to 2PM.
As I already mentioned, this cache is hidden on a special entrance into Lawrence Park as it's on a small footbridge over Four-Mile Creek. This bridge has been used for years to provide walking access between Lawrence Park & Wesleyville. This is also a very popular fishing area with one fishing hole practically right under the bridge. There is no need to go down into the creek to find the cache. Have fun!
