A good steep climb to a beautiful view on the Wanoosnock Ridge Trail
Parking for this cache is on Elm Street in Leominster. There is room to park a couple cars at N42 31.084; W071 47.998. In the winter you may have to park further away. The trail to the cache is along the Wanoosnock Ridge Trail. There is very little bushwacking. All are within 10 feet of the trail. When you first pass under the power lines do not go up the hill. The trail is straight ahead. Stay on the blue blazed trail until about 100 feet from part 1. The yellow trail will take you to part 2. After finding part 2, continue on the yellow trail to complete a loop. There is no backtracking needed.
At stage 1, you will have to find the middle name of the person engraved in the rock. Once you have that multiply the number of letters in the middle name and multiply by 111. This equals A. Next multiply the number of letters in the middle name by 11 and then add 2. This equals B. The next stage is at N42 31.A W071 48.0B. At part 2 stop to take in the spectacular view of my place of employment. The final is yet to come. The total walk is about 1.5 miles and should take around an hour to complete. There is no backtracking necessary.
The hike is worth it.
The reception was spotty. I checked it on three different days and averaged the coordinates out. If you have trouble with any of the coordinates, please contact me. The coordinates were always within 30 feet of each other. Thanks!

This is no longer a Travel Bug only cache. The bugs seem to be languishing too long there. We are changing it to a regular cache as of today. To get to the cache, there is no need to remove the outer container. Just remove the nut and bolt. Thanks!
