The latest hide in the Talimena Treasures series is located at the stunning Kiamichi Valley Vista, which will give you some of the best views you have ever witnessed.
I was standing at the edge of the overlook and noticed all the lands below. I came to this realization: much of what I was seeing may be completely undiscovered land. I wonder how many acres of the Ouachita National Forest has never been touched, never had a human foot depress its soil. I like that idea - the thought that there may still be some places left to really explore.
In the spirit of the wild lands of Oklahoma, I placed this cache somewhere my feet had never been. I got out of the little vista area, got off the road, and wandered a bit. I placed the cache somewhere you can get an even better view of the Kiamichi Valley and where you can feel the pleasure of true exploration.
