Geocache Description:

Access this cache will may involve trapsing through rasberry patches, mud and/or water. Bushwacking may be a better choice during wet periods. Sturdy waterproof boots and long pants recommended.

Inspired by FunkyNassau's Hell's Half Acre Cache series and expanding a bit: Long ago, New Brunswick was just 7 major centers and a whole lot of nothing…There's still a lot of space but us cachers are slowly filling it up. Perhaps one day there may be a Cacheville on the NB map. There are two micro's to find to get the final cache location. Difficulty increases with each one. The final is a 6"x9" lock n lock. WARNING: This is NOT a park and grab. If your up for a good walk, this would make a good day hike though a mountain bike would be faster. Directions to the starting point. Proceed to Petitcodiac by any available means. Find Plantation road, formerly part of the Trans Canada Highway. Now just a side road off of the Homestead Road. Coming from Moncton by the 4 lane to Saint John, take the first exit for Petitcodiac, this will put you on the Homestead road, proceed towards Peticodiac and turn left onto Plantation Road. From Saint John, take the first exit, turn left, then right and right again at the Baptist church. This is Renfrew Street. At the end turn right on Plantation road. From Fredericton by the 4 lane, again first exit to Petitcodiac, left, right and right at the lumber yard/store onto Old Post road which turns into the Homestead road where Plantation Road starts, turn right and proceed to the listed co-ordinates. To make it more interesting, I'm adding a race aspect, Note your time at the 2nd micro or start a timer on your watch. Walk, run, bike, to the final cache. Note your time again when you lay your hands on the actual cache container. Log your time in your log entry and I'll keep track and update the listing. Also note, while ATV's can access the cache location but will not yield much speed advantage in this race and in keeping with a low impact philosophy, they are not recommended .
