Geocache Description:

The River City Geocaching (& Dining) Society (RCGDS) and Central Valley Cachers (CVC) would like to extend an invitation to you and your family to join us on April 8th in beautiful Micke Grove Regional Park for the day.

Why is the event in Lodi, Well for some reason cachers from the south don't cache past the Stockton/Lodi area and the cachers in the North don't come down this far south to cache. So I picked Lodi for everyone to meet and greet everyone in the area. So remember The only numbers that count are the friends you make.

In lieu of our monthly dinner, we are having an all day potluck picnic. The day will be filled with lots of great people, good conversation and old-fashioned fun.
If you have any games you would like to organize or bring to share please do so!

COIN COIN COIN COIN COIN

There Will be a Coin for this event. The price will be about $7 and I may get pins of the back side also. If you would like to get the Reg. Ver of the coin you will need to go to Coinsandpins.com to buy them on or after the day of the event.

A hot grill will be provided for barbecuing along with paper plates, napkins and plastic forks and spoons.

Please bring:
1) Your own meat (or meat substitute) to grill
2) Your own drinks (adult beverages permitted)
3) A potluck dish of your choice to share

Please indicate what you intend to bring in a "will attend" note below so we don't get multiples of the same dish.

I strongly recommend you take some time to visit some of the many features of this wonderful park. The Zoo open from 10am to 5pm, Japanese Garden open 9am to 1:30pm, Funderwoods Amusement park and the Museum.

RCGDS has reserved the Pixley Picnic Area which is just south of the office. The exact coordinates are posted above. We will have the picnic area from 9am to 9pm but nothing will start until 11am. Please join us anytime throughout the day, although we hope you can spend the entire day with us exploring this fabulous park.

Parking can be found at N38 04.757 W121 16.190

Remember, this is a Regional park and a day use fee of $5 per vehicle will be charged for entrance into the park. Sorry.
