Placée pas loin de Châteauvieux près de Yzeron, cette cache est
située à une altitude de 841m près du Crêt de Py Froid qui est
populaire pour la pratique de l'escalade.
Located not far from Châteauvieux near Yzeron, this cache is
situated at an elevation of 841m near Crêt de Py Froid which is
popular for rock climbing practice.
Un secteur plaisant pour des marcheurs de tous les âges et un
endroit idéal pour un pique-nique. Des vues superbes peuvent être
vues de ce secteur. Si vous commencez à partir de Châteauvieux il y a un parking derrière la chapelle,
prenez alors la route au sud vers le carrefour. Aller tout droit et
prenez à la voie le premier bon passé une ferme. Vous pouvez
rencontrer deux personnes très âgées sur votre droite, mais elles
sont amicales. Continuez vers le haut et dans les bois. Vous pouvez
également employer ce parking pour atteindre une deuxième cachette
à Le Dolmen : Bois du Faix. La cache est au sommet apres une courte
mais forte montée. Recherchez un petit récipient en plastique dans
un secteur rocheux et moussu.
A pleasant area for walkers of all ages and an ideal setting for a
picnic. Superb views can be seen from this area. If you start from
Châteauvieux there is a car park behind the chapel,
then take the road south to the crossroads. Go straight on and take
the track on the first right past a farm. You may encounter two
very old people on your right, but they are friendly. Continue up
and into the woods. You can also use this car park to reach a
second cache at Le Dolmen: Bois du Faix. The cache is found after a
short but steep walk to the summit. Look for a small plastic
container in a rocky, mossy area.
