Geocache Description:

The name, Cupid's Trail, is suggested by several features along the way in a beautiful area of Ramsey County. Cupid's Trail is a series of four multicaches of moderate difficulty (no bushwhacking required) that may challenge many. Parking at coordinates.

Cupid's View: A Parliament of Foules

Around 1377, John Chaucer, the London vintner and poet, wrote The Parliament of Foules which include these lines:
For this was on seynt Valentynes day,
Whan every foul cometh ther to chese his make,
Of every kinde, that men thenke may;
And that so huge a noyse gan they make,
That erthe and see, and tree, and every lake
So ful was, that unnethe was ther space
For me to stonde, so ful was al the place.

And right as Aleyn, in the Pleynt of Kinde,
Devyseth Nature of aray and face,
In swich aray men mighten hir ther finde.
This noble emperesse, ful of grace,
Bad every foul to take his owne place,
As they were wont alwey fro yeer to yere,
Seynt Valentynes day, to stonden there.

Bring paper and pencil to take notes and to work out a puzzle.

“I am sorry, this number is no longer in service.”

You may reach Valentine by 1.) subtracting the last three digits of the phone number from N 45 03.953, and 2.) by subtracting the three digits of the “exchange” (e.g. 651-XXX-2345) from W 093 10.783

Watch out for traffic. Enjoy the view. The cache is in a small "tupperware" type container.

Cupid's Trail #4 is a reset of the archived Cupid's Trail cache. The original log is in the cache. Just "turn over a new leaf."

Cupid's Trail #4 is 0.18 miles from stage one to cache
