Geocache Description:

The name, Cupid's Trail, is suggested by several features along the way in a beautiful area of Ramsey County. Cupid's Trail is a series of four multicaches of moderate difficulty (no bushwhacking required) that may be a challenge.

Parking at start. Cupid's Trail #1 is 0.75 miles from first stage to cache. Watch for muggles.

Cupid's Priest

To determine the next waypoint on Cupid’s trail add the number of pillars to N 45 03.171; subtract the number of pillars from W 093 10.614

“Some Cupid kills with arrows, some with traps” ... So watch where you sit!
William Shakespeare (1564-1616), Much Ado About Nothing, act 3, sc. 1, 1.106

Some of the intermediate stages are "virtual" or puzzle caches. The final stage for Cupid' Trail #1 is a small camouflaged container containing a log.

Don’t miss the flora and fauna as you track Cupid. And enjoy the views.

Bring paper and pencil to take notes and to work out a puzzle in which you assign a numerical value to each letter of the alphabet (a=1, b=2, etc.)

At stage three you will be instructed to use this formula to determine the sum of the value of the letters of a designated name and add that sum to given coordinates in order to locate the waypoint for the next stage.
