Bottom of Rope #1 (N34° 06.094 W118° 33.865) - facing
back up the rock slope
When out looking for leprechauns, you're going to
need to be prepared. You're going to need sturdy hiking boots and
you may also find that long pants and a long sleeve shirt are
perfect attire. Also, you may want to bring plenty of water and
some food.
If you are hiking down from Eagle Springs Fire Rd, there will be
no bushwhacking necessary, but you will encounter a few low
branches, some easy rock scrambling and one rope climb. Don't
worry; the rope is more of a courtesy than a necessity and it is
already in place. There are pink ribbons marking the trail.
This well stocked cache is hidden in an ammo can, about ten to
fifteen feet off the trail. Please cover your tracks very carefully
after you find it and if you make a trade, please post what you took and what
you left, online.
