Lostboy1966: Four years. Not a bad run. This was the last 'plain' ammo can I put out as a Traditional Hide, and the start of the ridiculously - themed Indiana Geones series.
Again, being a newb I broke some unofficial local rules here with the placement and also chose a spot with horrific bounce to boot.

Thanks to Planet and The Mann for hiking the box out - I hope you can give it a good new home!

Intrepid adventurer Indiana Geones set out to finish a complicated cache one day. The hunt had been hard, consisting of clues protected by spike pits, arrow traps, and hordes of ticked off evil Archeologists. At long last, the final piece of the puzzle was in hand.

Indiana made the mistake, however, of walking while looking at his GPSr. He tripped and smacked his head on a rock. In his dazed state, he found himself unable to decode the final clue!

Professor Geones had so far determined that the treasure was hidden at North 41 16.XXX, West 073.22.XXX. It’s up to you to finish the hunt!

Don your Fedora, pick up the Bullwhip, and try to discover the secret of:



Container is a 30 cal ammo box. FTF is a pair of scratch off lottery tickets, and it also includes some kid-friendly goodies.

It was placed near 1:00 with erratic readings jumping between 20 and 50 feet (all the satelites I was locking on seemed to be clustered directly overhead). Once you’re in the area, however, the search spot should be obvious.

If the right roadside parking area is picked, a hike of about .25 mile along a wide trail will bring you to the cache area.
