Geocache Description:

Here is a little taste of Redvoodoo 4U. This is a 3 stage multi with an evil twist…or two.

I made Mrs. Voodoo go with me to place this cache and she swears it is a 5/5, but having never found such a cache myself, I’m not convinced of it. You be the judge!

FOR SAFETY SAKE PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS FIND ALONE OR WITHOUT LETTING SOMEONE KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GOING!

Obtaining the first container will require that you visit a place of business during its operating hours. You may need to ask for the Manager on duty if you get a puzzeled look from the cashier. These fluctuate, but they’re really only closed very early in the morning. You will need to go INSIDE and ask for “Tire Swing Teddy”. Once in hand, pull up a seat, grab a bite to eat if you wish and do what will become obvious when you look in the container.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL TO KEEP CONTENTS CLEAN AND DRY. When you finish with stage I, examine it closely, for it will reveal to you vital information about the next stage. Please return the container and its contents to an employee as you received them.

IMPORTANT:

The management of this operation was excited to help us with this cache. They are very good friends whom we have recently introduced to the caching game. In exchange for placing a stage here, they only asked that we please be patient if picking it up during lunch/dinner “rush times”. Work before play!

Beware! Stage I can be completed after sundown, but it is HIGHLY recommended that you give yourself plenty of daylight (2 hours?) to go on from there.

Making your way to Stage II will involve a hike along game trails with a little bush whacking. If you look closely, you’ll be able to see ahead just where some of the trails lead, so you can choose wisely. Only ALL the right choices will lead to NO bush whacking! PLEASE be extra careful, as footing can be slippery in places and some routes may take you near the edge. Loose rocks, moist and/or mossy areas are common. This is also prime reptile territory in the warm weather months. The container you are seeking at Stage II is a 35mm film canister. It is well hidden and inside you will discover a note with the coordinates of the BIG cache, an ammo box, and more information.

Again, like Stage II, phase three is only for the sure footed. Be EXTRA careful and stay safe! Be sure to place the box back as found. It’s tricky, but I did it….eventually. The view is spectacular and I’m sure a sunset picture would be equally so, but I wouldn’t risk being here that late, as a long hike out awaits you.

As noted earlier, there are lots of game trails and which to choose can confuse you. Each time in, I took the same way. Coming back was always different. Just pay attention to directions and some land marks while headed in and your trip back should be a piece of cake. (Probably devil’s food, 'cus your legs will hate you at the top)

There is a certificate and a special “bill” for FTF. HAVE FUN!

Special thanks to Tamara and Michael for allowing us to place our first stage.
