Magnolia Lake is a great place for migrating waterfowl and we stop by here frequently. Red tailed hawks and eagles are sometimes spotted also.(Don’t bother looking for a Magnolia Lake sign, there isn’t one). The cache is not very far off the trail. Suggested parking is on the dirt road by the bus shelter, you’ll have less bush-whacking here. If you park in the regular lot you’ll have to bush-whack or walk a short distance along the road. It could be difficult traversing in spots in the summer. As always, please cover this in the same manner ,or better, than you found it.
This was an ammo can with a log, pen, and four paper back novels. The Black Echo by Michael Connelly, Impulse by Catherine Coulter, Looking Back by Belva Plain, and The Third Victim by Lisa Gardner. Since being muggled, it is now a small camoflaged altoids container, placed a bit closer to parking and should be a quick grab. BYOP.
