On an island on Badin Lake. Nice 1/4 mile hike through the woods after you get to the island.
Most of the island shoreline is rocky. There is a little beachy area on the southern end to pull up the boat at N 35 27.423, W 080 05.428. There is also a really small beach area close to the cache for Sea Doo's, kayaks, and canoes at N 35 27.528, W 80 05.187.
OK, the cache is a now in an Ammo Can! That should stop the critters on the island from gnawing at it. Original contents: Package of tissues, white candle holder, purple rabbit, 2 golf balls, aqua blue 1/2 marble, blue & white necklace, green & red clown magnet, travel sewing kit, log book and pencil.
