Pretende-se destacar na localização desta cache, em S.Pedro de Avioso-Maia, a excelente localização para a observação do céu, pelo que foi baptizada de Portas para S.Pedro (que se julga também estar no céu).
O Parque de Avioso situa-se no Concelho da Maia, integrado na Área Metropolitana do Porto, Freguesia de São Pedro de Avioso e Vila do Castêlo da Maia. A sua localização favorece o acesso, seja por transporte individual, através das Estradas Nacionais 14 e 318-1. O Parque foi dimensionado num terreno com cerca de 30 hectares, num qual se articulam diversos espaços e edifícios. Destaca-se ainda de o PUA encerrar no seu interior a nascente da Ribeira de Avioso, que juntamente com outras linhas de água, forma a Ribeira do Arquinho, sendo o maior afluente do Rio Leça..
Destacam-se 4,5 km de trilhos, 3 conjuntos de aparelhos de diversões “radicais” e 2 Torres de Vigia, nas quais, dadas as suas características é possível fazerem-se excepcionais observações astronómicas.
É este último aspecto, que se pretende destacar na localização desta cache, em S.Pedro de Avioso, que por permitir uma excelente observação do céu, foi baptizada de Portas para S.Pedro (que se julga também estar no céu).
Pretende-se assim, que qualquer Amador de Astronomia ou simplesmente de um belo céu estrelado, tenha aqui, acesso ao Céu, por intermédio de S.Pedro (de Avioso).
Há que referir que por se tratar de um parque público municipal, está regulamentado por normas próprias, que incluem horário de funcionamento, que no Inverno é entre as 08h00 e 19h00 e no Verão entre as 08h00 e as 21h00.

It is intended to detach in the localization of this cache, in S.Pedro de Avioso-Maia, the excellent localization for the obsevation of the sky, by that it was baptized of Doors for S.Pedro (that it is also judged to be in the sky). The Park of Avioso it is placed in Maia, integrated in the Area Metropolitan of OPorto. Its localization favors the access, either for individual transport, through National Roads 14 and 318-1, either through public transport, especially by Metro of OPorto (SOON), that will have a stop at 700 meters. The Park was dimensioned in a land with about 30 hectares, in one which if articulates diverse spaces and buildings. It is still distinguished of the parq to lock up on its interior the spring of the Ribeira de Avioso, that together with other water lines, forms the Ribeira of the Arquinho, being the affluent greater of the River Leça.. Are distinguished 4,5 km of tracks, 3 sets of devices of "radical" diversions and 2 Observation towers, in which, given its characteristics are possible to become bonanza astronomical observations. It is this last aspect, that if it intends to detach in the localization of this cache, in S.Pedro de Avioso, that for allowing an excellent observation of the sky, was baptized of Doors for S.Pedro (that it is also judged to be in the sky). Any Fan of Astronomy or simply of a beautiful star sky intends itself thus, that, has here, access to the Sky, for intermediary of S.Pedro (of Avioso). This is a municipal public park, wich is regulated by proper norms, that include functioning schedule, that in the Winter is between 08h00 and 19h00 and in the Summer between 08h00 and 21h00.
