Geocache Description:

There are a few popular sliding spots around the Halifax peninsula. This series of caches will show you where they are. Most of the caches are film cannister micros to help hide them from sliding muggles.

When university students in Halifax want to go sliding, there are 4 places that generally pop to mind: Citadel Hill, The Pit, Gorsebrook Hill, and The Motherhouse.

Most of Citadel Hill is good for sliding, though some parts give you more room than others to slow down before hitting sidewalk. If you're here in the winter on a sunny weekend, it isn't unusual to see people young and old enjoying the slopes.

The cache is a plastic tube, hopefully hidden well enough to be kept safe from muggling eyes.

While this cache is meant to introduce you to a popular sliding hill, the cache will stay active all year round.
