Hairy's Knob Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

The Mountain Goat: As I don't seem to be able to find another suitable place outside the NP to re-hide this one and remain true to it's name, I must regrettably usher it toward the light and entrust the geoGods with it's eternal keeping.

I'm sad to see it go as it was one of the first caches I ever placed but I guess that's environmental politics for ya!

Let's close all the National Parks so NOBODY can enjoy them!!! [V][:(][:(!][:(!]

Geocache Description:

This is the forth in a series of 4 wheel driving caches.

The above coordinates are NOT of the cache location but they were taken where you turn off the main road (don’t forget to lock-in those free-wheeling hubs!). There are some great views of the coast to be had from this location but the going gets pretty rough and I would suggest you have a 4WD with low range capability if you want to drive to this one? Alternately, you could park on the main road and walk to the cache but be prepared for a fair old hike up some steep countryside?

To get the co-ords for this cache (S 36° 00.abc E 149° 58.xyz) you must visit three other caches. One third of the remaining coordinates needed are recorded inside the screw-on lid to each of the three caches below and also on the inside front covers of the logbooks.
  • GCT1NC (Hanging Mountain) has “a” and “x”
  • GCRVZ0 (Dry Creek?) has “b” and “y”
  • GCRVZ7 (Shite Hill) has “c” and “z”
Of course if you don’t want to visit the other three caches, you only have to search about 2.8 sq km of bush! The cache is a regular sized cache and should be easy to find (if you have the coordinates) and is suitable for most average swaps but please keep a close eye on the GeoKiddies as there are some very steep down-slopes nearby and heaps of loose rocks.

If you've gathered the necessary information, you can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.
