Look Up... Waaay Up Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

islander1988: If memory serves me correctly, the original design of this cache was a simple gadget style hide with the cache up in a tree and lowered by a string. However, said mechanism had issues. It's been muggled more than once. I moved it from the original location, which I think had trash in the area, but It sounds like there's still trash around, and worse given the latest log.

It would probably be hard to implement the original idea behind the hide (and the name) out next to the trail without it being too obvious and getting muggled. A nearby cache would also limit the options of where it could be placed. Perhaps it's best to just let this one go.

This cache lasted 16 years, earned 10 fave points, and had over 400 finds. Thanks to all the finders. Stay safe and happy caching.
