tomtomgogo: Sorry for delay, been busy getting married etc. Best I let this location go so that someone can put a cache there and maintain it properly.
Thanks to all that visited it.

Geocache Description:

The Greenwich Meridian line runs through the cache!

This cache is at 000 00.000E/W!!!
The starting point can be in Oxted in chalkpit lane, I parked at N51DEG16.191 W 000Deg 00.964 but leaving clear access to the field and walked up the road a short way before turning right onto the North Downs Way. This starting point is 5 or 6 steps.2 stiles on the way to the cache but are dog friendly stiles!
You will pass a plaque mentioning the crossing of the meridian and NDW & Greensand way. It is a bit further on! A reason for this can be found at (visit link)

The other parking place is at the top of Botley Hill where there is a small car park right by the roundabout. I think that the terain rating would be a 2 if going from this position.

The cache is a medium coffee jar in a clear sealable bag for added waterproofing.

Inside is a proper little geocache notebook(please use both sides of the pages as you go)

Small TB`s will fit in but nothing much in the way of swaps.

Nearby is The Titsey Estate and well worth a visit. The website can be found at (visit link)

Happy caching!
