Here’s another cache just off New York’s Long Path. If you are really adventurous, you can park at N 42 42.148 W 074 03.855. From here follow the aqua blue blazes south for about 301 miles. You should be here in about 3 to 4 weeks. Or you could park at N 40 51.045 W 073 57.841 and follow the blazes north for about 45 miles. You can walk here in 3 to 4 days.
If you don’t have the time to backpack, you can park at N 41 12.478 W 074 02.739, walk around the green fencing and follow the gravel trail that intersects the Long Path near Cheesecote Pond. Take the rocky road on the right near the pond. From here it’s less than a half-mile to the cache. The container is a lock and lock with all the usual goodies. You can combine this with my Ka-Ching cache or pick up all the caches along the Long Path.
