Geocache Description:

The cache is found in the forest under a fallen tree, .as far as a few meters behind the columns.

This cache is found in Keszthely hills on the top of Padko peak (408m). It is accessible from Gyenesdias or Nemesvita. Follow the green triangle marks through a pine forest as far as you reach a wooden look-out tower where you can see the Keszthely gulf of Balaton.
Beside the tower a nice clearing is situated. There are monuments of the deceased outstanding hikers of Zala county. The youngest of them is our late friend, Ferenc Buruczky. He was the member of the Budapest University hiking club (BEAC) and died in age 29 from a bike accident. He was born in Zala and was a prominent person in the local hiking clubs as well.
The monuments themselves are three columns made from wood and carved according to ancient Hungarian custom (kopjafa).
The cache is found in the forest under a fallen tree, .as far as a few meters behind the columns. A plastic bag was left in the box exclusively for TB/s and coins, do not remove it, please.
