This cache will bring you to two large artworks scattered about
a suburban downtown, in the heart of BoB Country (otherwise known
as Chicago's North Shore). The coordinates given will take you
nearby a moderately-sized municipal artwork, where you'll find an
attractively concealed little tag. This small, flat tag contains
the coordinates of the final microcache, which is located at a
second larger artwork. The two artworks share a common color
scheme... and the two geocache hides share a common design, too.
Note that both coordinates are offset from the artwork slightly to
the hiding place... but not far enough for you to miss seeing the
Big Art.
When searching the first location, please note that it is
not necessary to cross the fence towards the railroad tracks, or
enter the commuter parking lots. Stay in the pedestrian area, or
you won't find it.
This is a high-traffic area, especially the first location. It
is particularly busy during commuting times, but there are people
around at all times. Please use stealth to preserve the cache in
its hiding place.
The final cache is an attractively-disguised mint tin. This is a
microcache with just a log... bring a writing implement, please, as
there is no room for one in the cache container. Please be sure to
seal the plastic bag protecting the log from water, and return the
cache to the same place you found it.
Parking is conveniently available at both locations. The two
locations are within handy walking distance, or you can drive
between them... You'll find short term parking will be easier at
the second location, which also offers a variety of convenient
facilities during daytime and evening hours.
