Vancouver Travel Bug Hub Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Wizard of Ooze: As the cache owner has not responded to my reviewer note of January 4 requesting that he relocate his cache to an area that is not infringing on another cache's territory, I am regretfully archiving the cache to clear it from the active cache database.

If the cache owner would like to find a new location for his cache that is at least 161 metres away from existing caches and physical waypoints, you may contact me by email with your new coordinates and I'll look into unarchiving your cache listing if the location complies with the current geocaching guidelines. Please don’t post a note on your archived listing as it won’t be forwarded to me and I won’t see it. If you need to contact me, please do so by emailing me through the contact link on my geocaching.com profile page or through my website www.wizardofooze.com

Thank you for your contributions to geocaching, and we hope to see you actively geocaching once again in the near future.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to Vancouver Travel Bug Hub. The purpose of the Hub is to facilitate the movement of Travel Bugs and equivalents. It is NOT intended to accommodate other trading items.

The Hub is hidden inside the beautiful Queen Elizabeth Park. Conveniently located in the heart of Vancouver, QE Park is a popular tourist attraction, receiving nearly 6 million visitors a year who marvel at its superior standard of garden plantings. From the lookouts, visitors have a 360 degree view of the Vancouver skyline. The location of the Hub is ideal for travelers looking to go North (Cruise, Hwy 99, Whistler), South (Airport, I-5) and East (Hwy 1).

The cache is a camouflaged 4L container. Please close the lid completely before leaving as the cache is NOT a Lock & Lock. Free parking is within metres of the cache. Travel Bugs taken from the Hub but not logged within 3 months will be marked missing.
