Geocache Description:

If you love a "kind-of remote" hike over relatively easy terrain and a destination just 3/4 mile from a well known trailhead just out of Seward Alaska, this one's for you. Should be approachable year round though you may need skis or snowshoes on the trail in the deep of winter. The access road will be closed 5 miles short of the trail head during mid-winter when snow is very deep.

Any Hobbit will love Resurrection Hobbit Cache: it's a large brown plastic container of cookie-jar size; it is in a mossy dell of deep woods; and it's hidden snuggly under tree roots. The dense trees overhead will protect it from heavy snow--probably. However, the canopy makes for poor GPS reception right at the cache. So, once you find the coordinates, go 35 steps farther on the trail and then go 25 steps off trail to the north. Begin your search. Description above (and the Hint below) gives you your best clues. Good luck! Enroute watch for several marked and protected Forest Service "Wild Trees" which provide habitat for all sorts of critters. Maybe even for Hobbits!!
