Geocache Description:

Bushwhacking 101: Finals

COORDS ARE NOT FOR THE CACHE

To find this multi, you will have to retrieve the coords from 1st semester(GCR2YM), as well 2nd semester (GCR2ZG).

Have you found yourself a little weary of hunting micros in parks? Tired of feeling out of place surrounded by muggles? Need something a little more challenging without having to solve puzzles? Then you've come to the right place. This is a small series that will want you to have more if you answered yes to any of the above. All ammo cans planted in remote areas that will give you some satisfaction when found. Some people get frightened when they hear the word "bushwhacking". Others embrace it. We have learned as a group, that when bushwhacking is involved, it's good to study your maps. Sometimes, their are easier ways in then where your arrow points once you are out. Another thing we've learned, is to take your time. An explorer will look for openings ahead and not follow the beeline. More experienced cachers that know these areas will have an easier time. They know the trails and can avoid obstacles. But this series is an introduction mostly to the newer cachers. These placements are in areas that will test your skills. If it isn't the terrain, the tree cover will give you a headache with your GPSr. So the D/T ratings are mostly based on the hunters whom are discovering these areas for the first time. But the vets will have a good time also with the series.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

I love to be out in the woods. The quiet, scenery, animals that cross my path. I also like to be off the trails. Trails to me are like interstates. Sure, they'll get ya from point A to B, but ya miss the true landscape of the area. The place to me is where one would never be. A place that is virgin territory in a sense. I like a challenge in reaching these areas also. This final has all this interwoven. You will really have to think on your approach, but in the end, well, be nice. This is a thorny area and don't take me lightly. So be prepared. No kids. No dogs. You, and if you choose, a partner, is all I suggest  to accompany you.

About the team; KroBro, PiD and CT each recon'd a cache hidey for this series. Not knowing if it was worthy, we contacted HarryKrishna for a second opinion. Knowing of his "Transcendental Meditation" powers, we expected a quick response. We weren't disappointed as he replied back to us within minutes. Thumbs up! Next, we wondered of the beauty of God's creation. So who better, we contacted "http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?guid=d5f8fd80-141c-4af6-9edb-e856869c28b4" target="_blank">JesusOnWheels. After explaining our intentions, he set out to explore them. He found they were almighty worthy spots. While out, he blessed the caches so the cachers would not suffer any wounds in their hands and feet. The three of us could not have done it without the two of them. A big shout out!

So my friends, pack up your gear and head on out. Get out of the parks for a day and explore what we truly enjoy. The woods.......The gang.
35cal ammo box is what you seek.
