Relax in the hot geo-thermal water in historic bathhouse ruins
This is one of our favorite places in Big Bend. At the end of a long day hiking or exploring, there is nothing better than soaking in the hot water of the springs. The ruins were part of a "thriving" business established in the early 1900's. Bring a suit, wear your birthday suit, or whatever you desire - you never know when somebody will show up.
If the river is flowing well you can cool off with a quick jump into the hydraulics of the river immediately to the read of the springs.
