Geocache Description:

The cache is in a large nut container with a screw top. The Container is marked "OK Terrific! www.geocaching.com" FTF will find: Where's George Dollar, a shot glass, bouncy balls, playing cards, toy jeep, key chain, bottle opener, shark tooth, ice hockey puck, and other stuff. Also, let me add that when you find this cache, you will have one of the best views in Westchester that I know of. Good luck!

This cache is located in the Arthur W. Butler Memorial Sanctuary in Bedford NY. The sanctuary opens at dawn and closes at dusk. There are a few ways to access this sanctuary. The parking lot is located at (N41 10.950 W073 41.191) If you start from here, it is less than a 5 minute hike to the site. Another starting point is (N41 10.452 W73 41.239) off Byram Lake Road. This is how I originally found the site while hiking. The trails are not well maintained and have steep hills. You can navigate the trails by following color coded markings on the trees along the trails. If you start from here be aware that the cache is much more challenging. Also, you increase your chances of coming into contact with ticks. If you use the second set of starting coordinates I listed above then start at the wooden "Arthur W. Butler Memorial Sanctuary" sign just off the dirt road. (You can park about 500 feet away along the road.) Take the blue trail and follow it until the blue & yellow trails intersect. Then take the yellow trail northwest toward the cache. In warm months, watch out for ticks!
