If you find the gate open and have an all purpose vehicle, you can drive to the cache. If the gate is locked, you're in for a very steep 1/2 mile hike. It's at over 5100' so better run before the snow flies!
This is what was called a cache back "in the day" before light posts, guardrails, altoids tins and film canisters! This is a very large ammo box filled with guy things and gal things, a log, a custom First Finder Certificate and a gift certificate to Taylor's Sausage for the first finder.
The drive is beautiful, the leaves are changing, and the view is breathtaking. Bring your binoculars and you can see our house. You won't need them to see Lake Selmac!
