The best place to park
is N51o 57.429 W0o 21.240, but please
don't leave valuables in your car. From here, you can either start
by following the Icknield Way footpath, or over the stile into the
field. Please keep dogs on a lead. This is grazing land. The
co-ordinates at the top of the page take you to a feature used by
Ordnance Survey. You will find four numbers there, ABCD. The cache
is at N51o 56.(A+D)8C W0o
22.D4(C-B).
A fair climb, but worth it for the views.
Watch out for rabbit holes, there are a fair few to stumble down.
The actual cache location may be overseen by muggles, so watch
out.
When you get back to the carpark, why not
visit the 'Live and Let Live'. Really nice pub/ restaurant. Great
value at lunchtimes. A bit expensive but worth it for those special
occasions in the evening. Just turn left out of the carpark. Its
about 1/2 mile on your right.
Hope you enjoy the cache. Its my first -
let me know what you think!
