Little Texas Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

frgcc: Just for the record: the cachebox was, according to the theme of the cache, an original 7,62mm ammobox, witch was mutch more expensive than the usual cacheboxes.

I will not replace it or keep the cache available:
- i am not living near the final location anymore so that i can do a regular maintenance
- i am quite angry about the destruction/thief of the box

So finaly here is the solution of the mystrey:

The Cowboy on the photo is Audie Murphy, the highest decorated american soldier of WWII. He recieved the medal of honor, the highest military award of the united states, for defending the position of his unit against a german counter-attack north of Holtzwihr. At the location of the battle a Memorial was raised. After WWII Murphy become a hollywood filmstar. He played often in western movies. The photo on the cache-listing is taken from the movie "The Texican" (1966).
