Geocache Description:

This is the fifth and final cache in a series.
In order to find this cache, you will need clues collected (in any order) from Muddy Paws, Dog Collar, Dog Tracks, and Dog Wood.

The above co-ordinates are about 1 mile away from the present cache.
They were the suggested parking point for the previous cache location.

PLEASE NOTE
The cache was relocated on 9th April 2007 due to the original site being Muggled. The new cache location is approximately one mile away from the previous one.

Write down the numbers obtained from the four previous caches. I suggest you use this format where the x's stand for the numbers that you have collected.

Just add up each vertical column to get a total.

N xx.xx.xxx xxx.xx.xxxW from Muddy Paws

N xx.xx.xxx xxx.xx.xxxW from Dog Collar

N xx.xx.xxx xxx.xx.xxxW from Dog Wood

N xx.xx.xxx xxx.xx.xxxW from Dog Tracks
..............................................
N xx.xx.xxx xxx.xx.xxxW Sub-Total

N 00.00.383 000.00.714W Deduct these figures from the above Sub-Total

N xx.xx.xxx xxx.xx.xxxW New Cache location

PLEASE NOTE that the above table has been modified from the original on 9th April 2007 due to a forced relocation of the cache.

Located in the Eastern part of the ancient Forest of Bere to the north of Emsworth. A mixture of old and new forest with some unusual trees to be seen. Good walking along flat gravel/dirt paths which can be a little muddy in wet weather but should present no problems to cycles and pushchairs. This is a public area maintained by Havant Council so is open to walkers, cyclists, and horse riders with no restrictions on access.

The cache is a plastic screwtop box of about 0.5 litre capacity

Free parking in a gravel lay-by is available at N50 52.241 W000 56.686 There is a good sign board at this location which provides an informative history of the woodland.

Just a couple of points to bear in mind:-
1 The area around the cache is home to a very friendly robin. If you see him then you are very close!
2 Please ensure that you rough up the ground after replacing the cache. This will ensure that there is no obvious trail left for other cachers to follow.
