Geocache Description:

Epilä Ridge. Right next to worlds highest gravel ridge (Pyynikki ridge).

What has been called the "ice age" was actually several ice ages. Continental glaciers advanced and covered large areas of the northern hemisphere many times. When the glacier retreats the debris is left as a long, sinuous ridge of gravel. Pyynikki ridge was formed during the Ice Age about 10.000 years ago, and it is the world's highest gravel ridge (160 metres). Anyway this Earth cache is located at Epilä Ridge (right next to Pyynikki ridge). The cordinates leads you to the pit. This pit has been formed when the ice started to melt but some ice blocks were left to the ground. When the block melted the ground below collapset the pit was formed.
