Geocache Description:

(Magyaren ist die Bezeichnung der Ungarn in ihrer eigenen Sprache.)

Diese, in topografischen Karten als „Römerschanze“ bezeichnete Wallanlage dürfte wohl eher als Schutzwall gegen die Ungarneinfälle im 10. Jht. n. Chr. errichtet worden sein. Vielleicht haben ja auch die Kelten Vorarbeit geleistet ? Man stelle sich mal vor, nur mit Schaufeln solche Erdmassen zu bewegen !

Leichter, familienfreundlicher Cache! Eine Schaufel braucht man bei der Suche nicht, aber gute Augen und ein bisschen Glück.

Seltsame Waldläufer-Muggles gibt es dort...

Der Cache enthält das Übliche (Logbuch, Bleistift, Spitzer) was bitte im Cache bleiben soll.

(the Hungarians used to call themselves 'Magyaren')

This ancient rampart, described as 'Römerschanze' in topographical maps, is more likely to be a barrier built to keep out the Hungarians in the 10th century AD.
Perhaps some Celtic inhabitants had done some work on it before ?? Just fancy what a drag it must have been to move such huge heaps of soil ...

Easy Cache ! You won't need a shovel, but a sharp eye and a little luck would be helpful !
