Hrad Talmberk pravdepodobne založil Hroznata z Uzic z moravskeho rodu Kounicu, ktery byl v letech 1248 – 1286 purkrabim Prazskeho hradu. V roce 1533 se Talmberk pripomina jiz jako "pusty zamek", který vlastnil Michal Slavata z Chlumu. Od te doby obyvatele podhradní vsi z neho rozebirali kamen na stavby a postupne, zvláste v 18. a 19. století, zacali stavet sva obydli i v hradnim arealu.
Z hradu zustal jen puvodní dvorec, dnes obydleny, a zbytky zdi palace s parkanovou hradbou. Valcovy bergfrit byl do soucasne vyse snesen az ve 30. letech 20. stol.
Najdete si pristupovou cestu lesem, mimo obydli.
The cache is hidden in the forest at the position where one can see the remains of the bergfrit (tower of the castle). Be carefull during looking for and hidding the cache - nearby there is a children watching tower. Find approach to the cache in the forest, outside houses in the village.
