The cache is hidden in a municipal forest near the Fuller Lake
Arena on the outskirts of Chemainus. It is a less than 5 minutes
walk from the parking area on a gravel road. Suitable for young
children. It can be found in the dark. But a bunnyhop off the Trans
Canada Highway.
Easy access from the highway if you're northbound. If southbound,
turn left on Henry Road, right on Chemainus Road and again left on
Crozier after crossing the traintracks.
You can park in the arena parking lot, or at the yellow gate at the
end of Cottonwood.
The container is a one gallon glass picklejar, reinforced with the
handyman's secret weapon. It contains odds and ends, mainly stuff
we collected from other caches, and also some of our kids'
favourite toys. The cache was hidden to commemorate one of our
kid's first driving lessons after he's got his "L". He successfully
negotiated the twists and turns required to drive from home to the
cache location, and we all made it home in one piece.
