Midas Mini Mine Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

L3-Geo: We have thought long and hard on this decision and have decided to Archive this cache.

The cache site is too close to the “road” and a very nice hiding “Fort” for young muggles to play in. I know if I lived in this area as a youngster, I would be out there looking for nice places to play and hide.

And what a cool find to see this nice Ammo Box just sitting there for the taking. Now that someone has found it and taken it, we assume they will be back looking to see if some other neat items appear in this little hidey-hole.

It was fun placing and watching others find, but now it is time…..

Geocache Description:

Miners and Geocachers always need to be prepared.

This cache is an ammo can hidden away from prying eyes. Since geocachers and miners must always be prepared, this cache contains a few 1st aid items such as bandaids, sanitizing hand wipes, mirrors to signal for help, hand warmers in case your fingers are cold, hair bands to keep your hair out of your eyes while you search, tissues to dry your eyes because you are not the FTF, and a few other things. We also included a CA state flag pin just because.

High clearance vehicle is a good idea. This cache may not be accessible in the winter. As always, take care when searching for this cache.

Also, be sure to check out the nearby cache, "Midas Castle".
