This cache is the second placed along the foreshore between Newport and Cardiff. Situated in the area of the Gout Sluice gates which were opened in 1960.
You can park your car at The Six Bells Public House (N 51.30.947 W003.03.413)follow the signs to the Sea Wall, located on the left-hand side of the Church.
Once at the sea wall you can either walk along the foreshore, on top of the sea wall or along the track. There are some gates and stiles to cross so could be unsuitable for pushchairs.
You will see plenty of wild life, such as Dragonflies, Kingfishers and sea birds as well as some local cows and horses.

The car park is approx 1.2 mile from the regular cache.
