Rodinny pivovar v Chodove Plane je nejstarsim
pivovarem zapadoceskeho regionu. Nejstarsi pisemne zminky o nem se
datuji do roku 1573. Je vsak jiste, ze pivo se na tomto miste
varilo daleko drive. Dokladem teto davne historie jsou puvodni
lezacke sklepy ze 14. stoleti, tesane v zulove skale, dodnes
pouzivane k dokvaseni mistniho specialniho lezaku. V casti
pivovarskych sklepu je otevreno male pivovarske muzeum a restaurace
s 260 misty. Vstup do techto prostor umoznuje 40m dlouha chodba
skalnim masivem, v jejimz stredu je mozno nahlednout primo do mist,
ve kterych v lezackych sudech dozrava pivo.
The family brewery in Chodova Plana is the oldest
brewery of the west Bohemian region. The oldest written mentions
date from 1573, but it´s known that beer was brewed here much
earlier. The proof of this ancienit history are the original lager
cellars from the 14th century, hewn in granite rock, which are used
for fermentation of the lager beer up today. In a part of the
brewery cellars will be opened a small brewery museum and a
restaurant with 260 places. A corridor through the rock massif,
which is 40m long, enables the entrance in this area, in the modele
of which we can peep in the space where beer ripens in lager
barrels.
