Geocache Description:

This should be an easy micro cache to find. It is located in an area frequented by lots of people so finding the cache might just be the easy part. Signing this log-only cache might be a challenge. Please carefully replace the cache so the next cacher will have an enjoyable experience. The container is a small hide-a-key box so think small and bring your own writing stick.

The cache is placed in an ideal viewing area for the Mendenhall Glacier. A photo is a must from here as the glacier is quickly receding and might not be as spectacular in a few years as it once was. Note: This cache was originally placed by Akvoyager. Akvoyager geocached for eleven years before passing. His legacy is being maintained by Juneau cachers who pulled together to adopt his caches. His obituary may be found here.
