Wladiwostok Multi-cache

De cache bevindt zich in het oude havengebied van Amsterdam. Je vindt hier een combinatie van oude gebouwen en moderne architectuur. Het beginpunt van de cache is uitstekend met het openbaar vervoer te bereiken (bus 42; halte 'Tosaristraat' of Java-veer halte 'Sumatrakade'). 

A. Ga naar:
N 52°22.752’; E 004°55.385’, 
Stel vast wat de eerste letter is van het nummer van deze brug. Deze brug is vernoemd naar een bekend wethouder van Amsterdam. Een bekende uitspraak van hem was:’in gelul kan je niet wonen’. A is de cijferwaarde van het alfabet van de letter van het brugnummer.

B. Ga naar:
N 52°22.(10-A)63’; E 004°55.(2+A)98’ of 
N 52°22.(10-A)69’; E 004°55.(3+A)27’ of 
N 52°22.(10-A)73’; E 004°55.(2+A)84’
Kijk hoe de schilder heet. B is de cijferwaarde van de eerste letter van de naam deze schilder.

C. Ga naar:
N 52°22.(48+B) (6+A)’; E 004°55.(59+B) (4+A)’
Sta op waterniveau om te kijken wat het cijfer op het plaatje is (zie bijgevoegde foto onderaan. De foto heb ik thuis op de keukentafel gemaakt. In werkelijkheid is het plaatje op steen geplakt). Pas op voor natte voeten.

D. Ga naar:
N 52°22.(9-A)(22-B)(2+C)’; E 004°56.(4-A)(B/2)(7-C)’ 
Ga om drie uur powerliften. Blijf wel met alle vier de benen op de grond staan.

Om de cache te vinden is het niet nodig, en niet toegestaan, om ergens op te klimmen, te openen of op te tillen.

Om achteraf bij te komen kan je gaan naar De Kompaszaal (N 52°22.626’; E 004°56.403’), KNSM (N 52°22.584’; E 004°56.433’) of Lloyd Hotel (N 52°22.460’; E 004°56.090’).


The cache is located in the old harbour area of Amsterdam. You will find a mixture of old buildings and modern architecture. The starting point is excellent accessible with public transport (bus 42; stop 'Tosaristraat' of Java-ferry stop 'Sumatrakade'). 

A. Go to:

Determine the first letter of the number of this bridge. The bridge is named after a famous alderman of the city of Amsterdam. A well known quote of this alderman is: ‘you cant live in bullshit’. A is the numeric value from the alphabet of the letter of the number of this bridge.

B. Go to:
N 52°22.(10-A)63’; E 004°55.(2+A)98’ or 
N 52°22.(10-A)69’; E 004°55.(3+A)27’ or 
N 52°22.(10-A)73’; E 004°55.(2+A)84’
Take a view to the name of the painter (‘schilder’). B is the numeric value from the alphabet of the first letter of the name of this painter.

C. Go to:
N 52°22.(48+B) (6+A)’; E 004°55.(59+B) (4+A)’
Stand on water level to look what the digit on the small plaque is (see picture attached to this page. I took this picture at home. In reality is the plaque is sticked on stone). Beware for wet feet.

D. Go to:
N 52°22.(9-A)(22-B)(2+C)’; E 004°56.(4-A)(B/2)(7-C)’ 
Start power lifting at 3 o’clock. Stay with your four feet on the ground.

To find this cache it’s not necessary, nor allowed, to climb, to open or to raise anything.
