La Plata Summit Traditional Cache

from the wilderness this summer."

Placed near the summit, a long round-trip hike is required with lots of non-technical climbing to above 14,300 feet.
This cache could be difficult to find if snow is present, that's why I placed it on the southern facing slope below the summit. Be careful of other climbers (muggles) watching you search! My GPS accuracy at the placement was 17 feet.
The container is a clear, sandwich-sized tupperware container. Original contents of the cache include a travel bug, 3 bottle caps, logbook, pencil & a business card.
