A simple puzzle cache that relies on a small grammatical error.
The published co ordinates will take you to a little ‘wild’ open space close to the city centre and a surprising feature. Count the number of digits to give the value of X.
Now proceed to N51 44.810 W 001 15.645 to a building designed by the practice of Robert (Bobo) Maguire and count the number of steps that lead up to the porters lodge to obtain the value of Y.
Exchange the numerical value of X and Y into the formula and then make your way to the new goal.
N51.44.(Y-X)(Y/2)(3X-Y) W001 15.(Y-X-3)(Y/(X-2))(Y-X-2)
These new co ordinates will get you close (ish) to the cache’s resting location but then its up to you and a little brain power.
The cache itself is a camouflaged small Vaseline container held in place with a magnet. It contains a small micro log and is located in a very public and overlooked spot, you also do not have to leave the footpath to retrieve.
