Meowdoc procured this container from the 4th of July Micro Madness event. It is a small ammo box with a geo sticker on the outside (just in case someone is thinking about blowing it up!!!)
This cache is along the “Comanche Trail” near Wildwood park. In fact, I had intended to place this cache in Wildwood park and was surprised to find out I didn’t quite make it according to Mapquest. Nevertheless, it is a short hike (assuming you park at the nearby trail head instead of along the side of the road) with pretty scenery. You only have to leave the trail at the last 50 feet or so.
I placed a puzzle cache about 1/10th of a mile away, but good luck finding it without solving the puzzle. The two of these together were my attempt at increasing the population of caches in this area. Next time I place one here, I’ll actually try to get closer to the shore line (assuming you can get closer on this side of the lake…can you?).
NOTE - The wading icon is due to the low water crossing along the trail. I was able to step across (and it even rained today), but that may not always be the case.
