A temple to provide a scenic night- or daytime view to the Frankfurt skyline. You will come across the Falkenstein castle ruins.

Wer etwas länger laufen will, kehrt nach dem Cache nicht um, sondern folgt dem Weg über den ebenfalls sehenswerten Wegpunkt Hildatempel zum Ausblick auf die Burg Königstein.
Auf dem Weg liegt die Burgruine Falkenstein. Von hier hast Du einen spektakulären Blick über Frankfurt, der bei klarem Wetter bis in den Odenwald zum Melibocus (53km, 167°mag) reicht.
Gleich hinter der Ruine sind die Fundamente eines noch älteren Turmes zu entdecken. Von hier aus führt ein kleiner Pfad zum Dettweiler Tempel. Dort in der Nähe ist der Cache versteckt.
Der Lungenfacharzt Dr. Peter Dettweiler hat nach meinen Informationen ein Sammelfläschchen für das hochinfektiöse Sputum Tuberkulosekranker entwickelt, um die Infektionsgefahr für die Umgebung zu mindern. Ihm ist dieser Tempel gewidmet.
Andere Quellen beschreiben diesen Punkt als "Teufelskanzel", von der der "Leibhaftige" Reden an das Volk gehalten haben soll.
Auf die Einhaltung folgender einfacher Regeln muß ich leider bestehen, die Nichtbeachtung wird streng verfolgt:
- Logerlaubnis nur im Tempel!
- Keine Volksreden von der Kanzel!
For a slightly longer hike just follow the path after you found the cache using the highly recommended waypoint Hildatempel to the panoramic view of castle Königstein.
On your way you will find the ruins of castle Falkenstein. This place offers a spectacular view across Frankfurt. On exceptionally clear weather you will be able to see the Melibocus hill in the Odenwald area (53km, 167°mag).
Just behind the ruins you will be guided to the remains of an even older tower. Here a small path will take you to the Dettweiler temple. In its vicinity the cache is hidden.
Dr. (MD) Peter Dettweiler has been a medical specialist for lung diseases, especially Tuberculosis. He has worked on minimizing the danger of infection developing a sputum bottle.
Others quote this place to be the devil's pulpit, the bogy is rumored to have talked to his congregation here.
Sadly I have to insist to strictly obey to the following rules, non-observance will be prosecuted.
- Logging in the temple only!
- Positively no monologues from the pulpit!
