Geocache Description:

Spectra - txt by Peter Freeman, Commissioned by Middlesbrough Council an installed in 2004.

Spectra-txt is a 10 metre high silver column in the middle of Middlesbrough shopping area that is covered with hundreds of dots light. Apparently is was partly inspired by Blade Runner.

You can text a key word to the "Art" and it will change colour. The colour animation depends on the word you texted to it. Don't worry if you are confused as this is one of very few pieces of art that has instructions of the front.

To log the cache you will need to take a photo of yourself and/or your GPS in front of the art. When logging the visit remember to log if you think it is "art", or just a "thing" pretending to be "art". If you do not have access to a digital camera then send me the number of vents around the bottom of the column.
