Located near a favorite place paddling area of mine, this cache requires a water craft to reach and light bushwacking to find. The container is an ammo box. This is a new container and hiding place since the last one was washed away. The area can get muddy. The log book contains the coordinates to a bonus cache. The closest launch area is at N45 49.643 W122 50.266. 08/19/19 Cache replaced once again and is ready to be found. This year especially the water is low and it is recommended that it should be found on an incoming tide at least half way to high tide. There should be sufficient time to locate the 3 caches in this area and depart before the tide drops too much. If you misjudge the tide you can be stranded until the next high tide which means you can spend 6 hours or more waiting for water to cover the mud. If you don't have access to a watercraft, kayaks and canoes can be rented nearby. Advanced reservation is advised.
